[Q] Are 509 goggles Quickstrap compatible?

[A] Absolutely! They are 100% compatible with Quickstraps. We changed the hinge mold for 2009, so you can now remove the strap from the hinge and place the Quickstrap through the hinge slot. This allows you to continue using our hinge system with Quickstraps. We also sell "short straps" that include our hinge. These short open ended straps allow you to use your quick strap hardware with 509 brand straps. Simply weave the open end of the 509 strap into your existing quick strap buckle hardware.

[Q] Is the new nosemask compatible with the 08 goggle?

[A] Unfortunately you can not use the nosemask with the 2008 goggles. We changed the frame mold to include two new mounting posts for the nosemask. The 08 goggles do not have these mounts and therefore can not use the nosemask.

[Q] Do the new goggles use the same lens as the 08 model?

[A] Yes. Both the 08 & new goggles use the same shape lens. So you can use an 08 lens with your new goggles or vice versa. We did increase the thickness of the 09 lens and also changed it to a precurved spherical shaped lens. So the new lens is superior to the 08, however both are still cross compatible.

[A] All 509 orders are shipped through the postal service (USPS). Either first class or priority. Shipping typically takes 2-5 business days to the USA and 1-2 weeks for Canada.

[A] 509 goggles are not true "OTG" style frames. That being said many sledders use our goggles over their glasses. It depends entirely on the shape and size of your glasses frame. We offer a completely satisfaction guarantee, so give them a shot and if they don't work out we'll refund you entirely.

Removable Nose Mask
