Hinged Strap Mount |
|
|
Unlike ski goggles, which use a fixed strap
mount, our goggles are designed to work
specifically with an open faced helmet. The
strap mount is hinged which ensures a
perfect fit with any open faced helmet by
allowing the goggle to fit firmly, yet
entirely comfortably against your face.
Providing a perfect |
 |
|
|
seal, ensuring no air leaks, and preventing
moisture from passing inside of the goggle
and thus drastically reducing fogging
issues. |

Lens Technology |
|
|
Our goggles use a
dual lens designed specifically for cold
weather & high moisture use. Featuring
complete UV protection, dual lens panes,
anti fog, anti scratch, and shatter proof.
Our lenses come in a variety of colors
including, chrome, revo blue, orange tint,
and clear. Each lens is uniquely designed
with dual view technology. With our chrome
lens for example, the user see's an orange
tint which highlights definition in low
light, yet from the outside the appearance
is a high chrome finish. In addition the
chrome finish not only provides a very nice
'look' but also has the functionality of
reducing glare on bright sunny days. This
dual view technology is a new feature we
perfected & included |
|
|
|
on our goggles, so they not only look
sharp when in action, but also have the
unique functionality of two completely
different views depending on if you are the
one using the goggles or viewing them from
the outside. This encompasses the best of
both worlds by providing a functional lens
that increases snow definition yet doesn't
have the bland look of a standard orange
tint lens!

Frame Technology |
|
|
Our frames are a special Polyurethane
polymer blend that is flexible to fit the
contours of any face, yet durable enough to
resistant impact and serve a protective
purpose. Our frames are virtually
unbreakable and can be literally twisted in
a knot and will spring back to their
original shape with no damage. The polymer
blend we used retains it's flexibility even
under extreme cold conditions. |

Super Vent System |
|
|
509 Sinisiter goggles also feature a super
flow air vent system that ensures proper
heat ventilation yet prevents moisture from
entering the inside of the goggle. The vent
system is designed to funnel air from all
angles and use that directed air to exhaust
any heat and moisture that builds up from
|
 |
|
|
riding hard. This will assist in keeping you
comfortable and will keep the inside of your
goggles moisture and fog free. The vents are
located on the top of the frame, both sides,
on the top of the lens and the exhaust vents
are located on the bottom of the frame. In
total there are 14 vents located in the
super flow system.

Foam Technology |
|
|
Our goggles feature not single and not even
double foam around the inside of the frame,
but instead triple layer foam of varying
materials and density. The outer layer of
foam is designed to be most comfortable
against your skin and has a moisture wicking
property that draws sweat and water away
from your skin, keeping the material dry and |
 |
|
|
comfortable against your face. The second
and third layers of foam have a varying
level of density that repels moisture from
absorbing and turning the foam into a
sopping wet sponge. This prevents moisture
from passing through the foam and into the
inside of the goggle, thus eliminating
another form of fogging. All vents are lined
with a variation of our moisture wicking
foam to ensure no moisture passes through
the open vent areas. The foam is attached
with a water resistant, high bonding
adhesive to withstand harsh conditions and
abuse.

Strap Design & Construction |
|
|
In addition to the hinged strap mounts
described above, our straps are designed to
be durable and functional with helmet use.
The inside of the strap features a triple
lining of tacky silicon that prevents the
strap from slipping up or down on a helmet.
This ensures the goggles stay in the correct
position you placed them in originally. No
more straps riding up or down and adjusting
the fit against your face causing air and
moisture leaks. Set 'em and forget 'em.

Visual Design |
|
|
We designed these goggles to not only
perform, but look great doing it. Our frames
come in several styles: 509 skull camo,
carbon fiber, gloss black, and grunge metal.
The frame paint is protected by a strong
gloss clear finish, that is scratch proof,
fade resistant, and promises a high gloss
shine for as long |
 |
|
|
as you use them. The strap design, features
bold '509' temple logos, with several sled
silhouettes (based of a photo of freestyler Joe Parsons). The strap
design is a highly detailed and complex
design that is very rarely seen on a goggle
strap. |
